We have report portal installed in a QA environment. We are now setting up a production environment that also has report portal. What is the best wasy to promote reports (OLAP and SQL) created in QA to Production. This will be a regular need as reports will be created in QA first.

Hi,

First install the latest build 135 and you can copy paste SQL code for SQL Reports and or use the export report definition from QA to Production. For HTML OLAP you can do the same copy paste MDX code for OLAP Reports and or use the export report definition from QA to production.

By the way with the latets build it is so easy and fast to rebuild reports from scratch that this might also be an option.

You also can transfer tables and table content from AQ database to another Production database if you like.
