Using build 130 I can no longer see the little red icon showing that there is a comment. The comments themselves work fine, it just is no visual indicator to show that a comment exists on a a cell.

Can you reproduce the problem with a sample database (Foodmart or Adventure Works)? Note that you can save comment only to a saved report.
