Help,

We are seriously evaluating reportportal. Our installation is using the current demo download.

We have a proper connection to our SQL2005 Analysis Server and can see our cubes fine. Inside of SQL2005AS, we can see our data in a cube as we expect it (customer name, amount(measure), days outstanding(measure)).

We base the Tree Size on "amount" and the Tree Cell color on days outstanding.

Although we get data back, all boxes are the same size and color. When I look at the data in the View Results/Table inside of ReportPortal - i get NA where the measure amounts should be.

Also, when I mouse over a cell, it shows the same "value" for each cell for both measures.

Not sure if I am using the latest build either.

Any help or guidance is appreciated - Thanks!

Charles

Hi,

In the reportportal directory you see a file with buildnumber.txt where you see the build nr and date.

Which Report Type are you refering in ReprotPortal that it is not showing the expected data? Map Report ?

Marco

My build info is:
ReportPortal 2.1, Build 127, September 29, 2006

I am attempting to run a TreeMap when I get data that all appears to be the same - but I do get unique names but they all have the same size. I suspect that it is not seeing my measures properly.

Thanks,
Charles

Hi,

It is one of the latest builds.

Do you see TreeMap working with Foodmart 2000 or AdventureWorks ?

Did you follow the setup of TreeMap report for your own data based on: http://www.reportportal.com/Flash/TreeMap.html

Regards, Marco

Marco,

Got it to work - basically, we still need to figure out a thing or two, but when we gave the Role Admin rights, it all worked properly.

Thanks,
Charles
