Hi,

I have installed your latest build that fixes a bug 'Unspecified Error' and 'Script Error' while creating Local Cubes. I tries creating local cubes and i was succeeded in creating 2 different Local Cubes. But if try creating Local cubes for some OWC reprts, I get either of the following error:

1) Errors in the metadatamanager. No dimension relationships exist within the 'PM Transaction' measure group

2) Query (4, 910) Parser: The syntax for 'UNKNOWNMEMBER' is incorrect.

Could you please help me out with this problem?

Thanking you in anticipation.

Thanks

My guess it that you have selected a dimension that has no relationship to your measure... Can you reproduce this problem in Adventure Works sample OLAP database?

Hi,

I installed latest build of Report Portal on my machine and used 'Adventure Works DW' database which is a default OLAP database of SQL Server 2005. I tried creating local cubes of OWC reports generated for every cube. But every time I failed.

For example:

I generated an OWC report using 'Finance' cube of 'Adventure Works DW database'.

Measures used: Amount, Average Rate, End of Day Rate
Filter Field: Account Type
Column Field: Scenario
Row Field: Account Number

I saved the report. Then I tried creating Local cube for this report.
I got the following errors subsequently:

1)Amount could not be used because it is calculated.
2)Average Rate could not be used because it is calculated.
3)End of Day could not be used because it is calculated.
4) Query (4,1) Parser: The syntax for 'Dimension' is incorrect.

Trying with other cubes, I found some other error like 'Errors in the metadatamanager. No dimension relationships exist within the XXX measure group'

Kindly provide the solution.

Thanks
