It seems when I edit a named set(saved previously), that unless I expand the dimension tree all the way down to display the previously selected members of the set, then when I re-save the named set, those previously selected members are lost.

Am I making sense? Is this the case? Is there a fix or other way to do it, because my dimensions are massive?

Are you able to reproduce this problem with Foodmart or Adventure Works? Can you please provide an example?

1. Connect to Database: FoodMart 2000, Cube: Budget
2. Open 'Add Named set' and using the [Account] dimension, expand Net outcome -> Total Expense and tick ‘General & Administration’ and ‘Information Systems’.
3. Name the Named Set ‘AccountTest’, Test, Save and Close
4. Open ‘Add Named Set’ Dialog again
5. Select to edit ‘AccountTest’.
6. Expand ‘Net Income’ -> ‘Net Sales’ and tick ‘Gross Sales’. (do not expand Total Expense).
7. Test and Save

Result:
Previous selections made in step 2 are now gone. However, if in step 6 you had chosen to expand the 'Total Expense' branch before saving, those two previous selections (‘General & Administration’ and ‘Information Systems’) would have been retained in the Named Set.

Thank you for identifying the problem. The bug is fixed in the current build 118.
