Hi,

I have seen some answers on this problem, but would like some more help, since this feature was working before in our env.

Getting the error:

Errors xfaultcode->Server xfaultstring->Unknown server error xfaultsoap

When trying to run Olap Reports.

Can you first tell me what the setup should be. My setup in IIS is as follows:

Application A (main app with virtual directory)
- Folder B
- Application XMLA
- Application ReportPortal

The authentication method for XMLA (and MSXISAPI.DLL) is Anonymous with using an account that is a member of Administrator group.

What should be authentication method of "Application A", the top level application. Also, what about "Application ReportPortal".

How does one test via that MDX URL in one of the posts? What needs to go in the text boxes, please give detailed answer as I am trying to troubleshoot this issue at work without knowing much about this.

Please guide me to documentation on how to setup IIS for this problem:
"Errors xfaultcode->Server xfaultstring->Unknown server error xfaultsoap"

Thanks,
Apurva

Most likely the password of account information have been changes or expired for your anonymous user.

More generally, please go to Start> Programs > ReportPortal > Application Setup to configure and test XMLA providers.
