When report portal installed it is couldnot connect to the database
My system is Window xp
MSDE 2000 with service pack 3

I have sql file with window authentication
Is it possible to install with window authentication and not server authentication

The sql file is opening in the enterprise manager.

But why not connecting to the report portal


1. In the sql connection wizard, username, and password is asking. Whether it is needed in window authentication

2. In the next wizard (xmla)
NT username
and password is asking
Is it window logging name and password?


I really tired with installation.

ReportPortal is not tested to run against MSDE 2000 it needs SQL Server 2000 or higher.

1) You can try to use SQL Server window authentication but the anonymous user for ReportPortal virtual directory will have to have access to your database.


2) XMLA connection dialog asks you for NT username that has access to your Analysis Services database. (Analysis Services supports integrated authentication only.) The setup program will use this account information to setup the anonymous user for XMLA virtual directory.
