I have a group of fields that changes everytime you redo the report, but this group of fields has to have a new field that is an average of the group of the fields. Can the average be calucaled by report portal? And if yes how since the group of fields changes in how many fields are in the group? Or any suggestion on doing the average?

Which report type are you referring to? OLAP, WOC, SQL? Can you please provide en example?

Did you try using AVG function:
