I would like to submit a defect and wait to receive feedback to fix it. While designing a Bar Chart Tree, it is not possible to display the children of the dimension member in the same chart. Anytime we try to show children, they are displayed in a separate chart using drill through and not within the original chart. We would like to know if it is possible to have parents and children on a single Bar Chart and if so, how. If it is not possible, please let us know when you expect this defect to be fixed.

Thanks,
Saurav

Bar Chart Tree will show Bar Chart for each level. To see children for the next level you should click on a Bar in that Bar Chart.

To see both children and parents in the same chart for OLAP report please:

Click toolbar "Options" button > Chart Options > Uncheck "Chart Floor" and click OK.

Sorry, but I wasn't able to view the Chart Options under Options. All I was able to see were -
Drop down for Label Settings
Toolbar Options: Check Box for Allow Saving, Allow Dimension and Allow Measure
Legend Option: Check Box for Show Legend
Connecter Setting Options: Text Box for Length and Check Boxes for Width, Style and Color

Please let me know in case I am missing anything. Thanks in advance for the help
