Hi,
is it possible to get a connection to the Analsysis Server 2000
Standard Edition
over RP2,
because of this kb from MS
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;q279489
"HTTP connections work only with the
Enterprise Edition
of Analysis Services."

Hi,
I think AS2000 both Standard, Enterprise, Developer is supported by RP 2.0.
Maybe you have problems with OWV Report but you can connect also in a direct way and not http

This Microsoft article talks about HTTP access via the msolap.asp. This kind of access is used by RP when you use an OWC report via HTTP connection.
XMLA for analysis SDK will work with all versions of Analysis Services.

Hi,
i tried to get a connection to a OWC-Report over internet. But it doesnt works.
I get a connection if i try it local(but only direct mode)!
Do i understand it right:
If i want to get an access to an OWC-Report over internet (http or https) i need a Analysis Services
Enterprise
Edition!

Yes, you need Enterprise Edition to use HTTP access with Analysis Service 2000. However, HTTP access for Analysis Service 2005 with any edition.
