We have a RP 1.5 installation running in a production environment.

Now we would like to update it to 2.0
We didn't find any information or documentation about the update.
Could you tell us where we can find this information?

Is there something like a Best-Practice guide line which would allow us to minimize the downtime of our server during the update process?

Any help about that subject is welcome

You should use the following two steps when updating Report Portal:

1) Uninstall the previous version of Report Portal. Choose "NO" when asked to delete the database.

2) Install Report Portal by double clicking on ReportPortalSetup.msi file. Choose the same database name used by the previous version.

The next release of Report Portal should include an automated update feature which should minimize the downtime.
