Hi all,
I have a problem saving reports in Report Portal, any advice greatly appreciated.
The Save dialog (after designing an OLAP report) closes immediately, without asking for the report's name.
It is possible to save a report, but first you have to empty the temporary internet files directory.
The only way to get around it that I have found so far is to delete all temporary internet files in your browser, this particular file called MdxSave dictates how the Save Report functionality in report portal suppose to react.
If you delete MdxSave in your Temporary Internet Files folder, then Save Report window opens up correctly.
Is there a method maybe in future release to implement a capability to automatically refresh MdxSave file in web browser temporary internet folder so that user doesn’t have to delete this file from his temporary folder every time?
Sorry, but it doesn't make any difference...
1) In IIS console open properties for your ReportPortal site > Click HTTP Headers tab > check Enable Content Expiration - Expire Immediately |

I have no clue. How can I check what version I am on? I talked to my developer and he said he doesn't know. |

There's a txt file named buildnumber or something like that in your root directory. The current version must be 56 or greater...

| Please try Build 57. It should fix the caching problem. |

There is a parameter in c:\WINNT\System32\inetsrv called MetaBase.xml.
There is a line that says:
<IIsCompressionSchemes Location ="/LM/W3SVC/Filters/Compression/Parameters"
HcCacheControlHeader="max-age=0"
The parameter “max-age” should be set to zero. (Default is 86400).
On web server 1 it was set to 0, but on web server 2 it was 86400. Hence the save issue.
