We have a need to filter the OLAP report based on 100's of individual ids that we get from the user.It is tedious to go and select these ids individually from the report. Is there a feature that can use an excel or a file to populate a NamedSet in Report Portal?
Thanks, SSM |

How does your list of 100's of individual ids look like? Is it a list of SSAS Unique Member Ids like:
[Customer].[Customer Geography].[State-Province].&[CA] [Customer].[Customer Geography].[State-Province].&[FL] [Customer].[Customer Geography].[State-Province].&[SC]
Or is it like:
CA FL SC
Dou you want to copy and paste your list of do you want to upload a file with the list? What file format (Excel, Text tab delimited, comma delimited)? |

It might be possible to add this feature to the dimensional search dialog. Can you specify the level for the list members? For the example above the level would be: State-Province. |

It will just be the state. The users will give a list plain states.

It sounds like you are OK with having to specify the level.
Would you need an exception report for members that cannot me imported? For example, if your list has in item like Puerto Rico which is not in SSAS. The exception report would state that Puerto Rico could not be found. |
