- installed xmlabrowser on a win2k3 server. When we try to access it from a different machine on the network, we get an error "This page is accessing information that is not under its control. This poses a security risk. Do you want to continue?" if we say Yes to this box, we basically don't see any server, cubes, etc.
- if we access xmlabrowser app from the same win2k3 machine, things work fine
- so we suspect it has something to do with security. we turned off anonymous auth and set 'integrated windows auth' for both xmla and xmlabrowser virtual dir, but it didn't ask for a login. Then changed to basic auth, and logged in using a windows domain account that has permissions for the analysis services, but stil the same problem, i.e. same dialog box -- 'page accessing information not under its control'
any explanations, pointers? thanks |
