Hi,

i installed RP2 Build 92 on a WS 2003.
I also installed OWC 11 on the Server.
(For test i installed full version of Frontpage, too)

I am not able to see any Picture of OWC.

I logged as admin, i am able to get a connection to foodmart!

I tried to open IE on the Server but it doesnt show anything of OWC!
The other menus works fine!

Hi,

i didnt try Build 93, but to change the link manually by going to Admin-->Settings: OWC Settings https://MyWebserver/Reportportal/owc works fine.

thx

The latest build 93 should setup the OLAP virtual directory for you.

You can change the OWC connection information manually by going to Admin > Edit Report Schema.

Hi,

i tried to get a connection with owc over the internet (https),but that didnt work!

I think there is a little bug in the connection string. Please look at this snapshot:
http://home01.htp-tel.de/sefer/msolap.jpg

The linkstring is incorrect, this folder doesnt exists (https://XXXX.serverkompetenz.net/olap).

I created a folder named olap in IIS and copied the msolap.asp into it. The permission for this folder is setted to anonymous.

If i now try to connect
Design-->OWC-->connect to cube -->connection Typ: https
it works.

The question: Is that a bug or am i able to change the Connection string by myself?

INFORMATION:
i changed before the security settings for the folder owc like your Documentation-->Installation-->7.)Change security settings !!!

thank you
Sefer

Hi,

i solved the problem.

The "auto detect on first use" were enabled.
I change it to " auto detect on every use" and now it works!
