Hi, i've downloaded Report Portal 2.0 trial version, but i couldn't install it.
I've previously installed:
-Microsoft SQL Server 2000
-Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Microsoft Analysis Services
-XML for Analysis SDK 1.1
-IIS
-.NET Framework
-MSXML 4.0 SP2

But when i execute the ReportPortalSetup.msi file the next message displays:
"This advertised application will not be installed because it might be unsafe. Contact your administrator to change the installation user interface option of the package to basic."

So, i open a command line window and execute the following command:
"msiexec /qb /I ReportPortalSetup.msi" and after a few seconds displays a long message window that shows me the syntax of the command "InstallUtil.exe".

Can someone help me?.
I'm using Windows 2000 Server edition.

regards,

alejandro

You must be an administrator on your machine to be able to install this software.

if I execute the Setup.exe file, appears the same message than when I execute the .msi file.

"This advertised application will not be installed because it might be unsafe. Contact your administrator to change the installation user interface option of the package to basic."

thanks for the reponse.

Hi,

Why are you not starting the setup.exe file as enclosed in the download .zip file. It works for me fine on Windows 2000 Server and Windows XP Pro
