In version 1.5 it is not possible to create a snapshot (I have only tested with Windows XP) in de OWC OLAP report.
Further the download local cube option generates script errors.
After clicking one of the above option IIS 'hangs' and a restart of IIS is needed to resume activities on the webserver.

Are you trying to create an offline cube using HTTP connection? Sometimes Microsoft OLEDB provider for OLAP sometimes does not handle HTTP connection. Please try to switch to direct connection and try again.

It is a javascript error:
An error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line: 2
Char: 1
Error: Invalid character
Code: 0
URL: http://localhost/reportportal/owc/localcube.asp

Do you want to contine running scripts on this page
yes/no

When i answer with both yes or no i get the download local cube file dialog, but at this point it seems that the application is 'hanging' when i press the download html or create local cube button.

Office Web Components (2002, XP and/or 2003 depending on your site settings) needs to be installed on the web server to create OWC snapshots.

Make sure that IIS anonymous user has full access to the ReportPortal\owc\temp folder.

Make sure that IIS anonymous user has access to the Microsoft Analysis Services or only Integrated Windows Authentication is enabled on the ReportPortal\owc folder.

Please refer to the online documentation: (Optional Settings #3)

What is the error that you receive when trying to download the local cube?
