After creating UDL strings, I go to create a SQL report and can execute SQL -- i.e. a table of data comes back.
But I can't save the report, and all the boxes on the left of the interface (Tables, Filters, Procedures, functions, etc.) remain unpopulated.
Any ideas?

What database are you accessing? SQL Server 2000? Oracle?
Please make sure you have permissions to view the tables, Procedures and functions.
