Hi
I have 2 installations of report portal. One available to the web with anonymous acces and an intranet version with integrated permission.

I would now like to change the intranet one to have integrated front end (RP), but with anonymous access to the cube. Is this possible? There is a requirement to allow a VPN user to access the intranet cube, the XMLA doesn't reprompt him for a password so the connection fails.

By putting RP on its own site and XMLA on the default site I can get this configuration going for lan users - but not for the VPN user.

Any ideas?

Cheers
Adrian

As you probably know, XMLA does not like when it receives a security challenge from Windows Integrated security. Thus if you use Windows Integrated security for RP pass-through authentication the XMLA service should produce an error. The work around to this problem is to use basic authentication.
