Hi
I have a member called 'Net Sales', This is reporting incorrect figures. It has the children 'Purchase' and 'Withdrawal' and these figures are correct. The inaccuracies usually occur for the most recent dates, ie 2006 and June,July at the moment. When I run the MDX generated by ReportPortal in another app it returns correct information. I believe the error might be due to the fact we are using 2 date dimensions Date.CY and Date.FY, possibly combined with the incremental upload. When I filtered on both of these the 'Net Sales' returned the correct figure. Also this problem doesn't always occur, it was incorrect all of yesterday but is fine today.

Cheers

From Adrian:

Thanks for looking at this, we do have security set up on the cube, but its pretty simple giving full read access to each dimension.
When I ran your code in the MDX Sample App I got 64,564.96 which is the incorrect amount.

I played around a bit and ended up getting different answers from 2 MDX Sample windows running the same query.(MDX Sample application and XMLA Sample application (http://www.reportportal.com/download/XmlaSampleApp.zip))

I now think there is a bug with Analysis services when running 2 datetime dimensions (either that or something funny with our cube.) Thanks for your help and sorry to direct this problem your way, every other time I ran the MDX Sample it was giving us correct results.

Cheers
Adrian
