How can I use all the reports created using Report Portal in .NET application? Is there any web service or any intrface that is exposed to use the reports in .NET applications? Here, I want user to view all the reports created in Report Portal without requiring him to log into the Report Portal.... in short, I dont want to expose Report Portal exposed to an end user of my .NET application.

Thanks

Currently, the SDK does not use application security tables. It assumes that the external application handle the security.

And to add to do this ,i have a .NET application and different user roles are already defined there, a user logs in to this .NET application and wants to view the report, so the Report Portal must come into picture now but no login screen should be displayed moreover, the kind of the reports the user can view should be based on his role as defined in the .NEt application.
So what i want to know is how to integrate the user groups also.

any answer to my prob?

Hi,

Just go to Admin > Settings and you will see an option Download SDK which you can click on to install.

Otherwise go to servername/inetpub/www/reportportal and unzip sdk to your webserver.

I have RP 2.1 installed with URL integration turned on, but there is no link in the admin interface to download the URL integration SDK when I log in with the administrator account.

Any suggestions?

Hi Kurt,

if you have installed Report Portal 2.1 you can download it.

You have to login as Admin and then
-->Admin-->Settings-->Security-->Link at the bottom "Download URL Integration SDK"

Thats all

Please take a look at the URL Integration feature. Go to Admin > Settings > Security > Enable URL Integration. Download URL Integration SDK.
