Hi,

If interested it is also possible to have localcubes as source in XMLA. Just change the source to the local cube and that is all.

Of course MS Analysis Services as OLAP datasource is a better choice, but it is possible.

It is possible but would be difficult to administer because you would have to modify datasources.xml every time you add a cube.
