Hi:
My company is currently evaluating your product. We're very impressed with the multi-faceted OLAP functionality. During our evaluation, we took some notes on possible improvements. We'd be very interested to hear if any of these thoughts were in queue for an upcoming release-- and if so, approximately when you think they will be released.
Measures/Dimensions:
- The ability to see measure headers when only one measure is on the table
- The ability to group multiple dimensions and measures in rows
Aggregate Calculations:
- The ability to show subtotals by dimension member (e.g., showing sums by quarter, year, months in the same view
- The ability to show Grand Totals like Excel's Pivot Table functionality
Administration:
- Functionality that prevents users/designers from saving duplicate report names
- Support NT Outlook distribution lists (e.g., I build a group in Outlook consisting of 25 people, allow me to create folder permissions for these people by leveraging the group)
If some of these items are not on the docket for release in the near future, would it be possible to provide us with a general time frame for incorporating suggestions such as these into future releases?
