Sparkline lets you add a measure that displays a small line chart. The chart should normally be based on a time dimension.

For example, when adding a sparkline for your sales measure you will be able to see the time trend for that measure. In a way, the sparkline lets you visually drilldown down to a desired level of your time dimension.
